This is an original ink and watercolour painting of an eagle owl with a splashy gold background. I think the gold contrasts well against the black. It is currently framed in an oak effect frame but if you prefer it unframed or in a different colour just get in touch. 
 
This painting is available as a print but without the gold leaf background. I just loved the owl too much so I took photos prior to painting the background.
